Paul Grant retired from competitive bodybuilding due to kidney problems.
Tim replies: Did you follow the link to the BBC obit? It says:
By 1984 he spent eight hours a day, three times a week, linked to a kidney dialysis machine at his home in Clydach, but still took part in the British championship that year.
